We’ve been talking with local stakeholders from the outset – a full consultation programme for the Project started in October 2010. We’ve held many discussions and briefings with local politicians, local interest groups, business organisations and residents’ groups, as well as individual members of the public at an exhibition held in June-July 2011.
We’re currently undertaking a final round of consultation activity, including briefings on the final proposals to key organisations in the local area, and a public exhibition that summarises the scheme, planned for April 2012.
The whole consultation process is set out in the Statement of Community Involvement which will be submitted along with planning application, and which will be available at www.lambeth.gov.uk.
Response to the proposals has been overwhelmingly positive.
